Learn To Swim

Catering for children from 3 years of age, the learn-to-swim program allows swimmers the time and space to extend themselves to a higher standard. Aided by Austswim qualified and experienced teachers, your children will receive constant feedback and encouragement to help them along the way.

Finding your children are standing up because they are stuck in shallow water? Our beginners are given the opportunity to swim in a large area and experience both standing depth and deep environments.

Feeling cramped in your current lessons by only getting a few strokes in your short lane? At Kiddieswim we give children the opportunity to extend themselves and develop continuity with their stroke.

Most intermediate and advanced classes have access to a full lane at both our 17m and 25m facilities.

Our program has taught thousands of swimmers to be safe & competent in the water. Invest in your child’s future and start their development today...

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer make up?

Should swimmers miss a class they are entitled to do a make-up class in its place. There is a maximum of 3 make-ups available to each swimmer and they must be used within the current term. To qualify for a make-up, you must give prior notification by calling your centre and have your fees up to date. If we are not advised of your absence you will not be entitled to your make-up class. Make-ups are not transferable and we do not offer credit or refunds if you do not make your booked class.

Do you offer school holiday programs?

Each school holidays we conduct an intensive program for our swimmers. It typically costs $90 for the 5 lessons and is conducted at both centres. Swimmers may use up to 3 missed classes as credit towards this however must commit to the remainder of the week (charged at $18 per lesson).

How do we rebook for the next term?

For term based families, we require a deposit to secure your ongoing space at the conclusion of each term. The deposit is $50 for one child or $100 for the family and will be deducted from the terms fees. If deposits are not paid by the end of the term, we will open the space to those wanting different times.

What payment options do you have?

We offer month to month direct debit and over the counter term payments. Please see our brochure for more information and pricing.

How often do you assess swimmers?

We assess our swimmers at the beginning and end of each term to ensure they are in an appropriate group. Should a teacher feel that a swimmer is ready to move up immediately they will request an assessment to ensure your child is not held back.
